About

Dimitris Nikainas was born in Livadia of Viotia. He developed an interest in cooking from a very young age, seeing and tasting his grandmother’s homemade food and the food of his birthplace, all full of pure flavors. He graduated from the Le Monde school in 2013.

He worked in some of the biggest hotels of the country, like the Mare Blue Cosmopolitan in Rhodes, and the Domes of Elounda which has been awarded the World Award, next to accomplished Greek chefs. He took on the first restaurant of his own at a young age, at the Selena Village Hotel in Elounda. He has created menus in many restaurants of Greece and abroad. The Chef has also been interviewed by many magazines and newspapers in Greece. They call him as the new cuisine star.

Currently, he’s Executive Chef in the Blue Jasmine Boutique Hotel in Skala, Cephalonia of Greece.
